Oriente is Losing Posibilities
On Sunday, Oriente played against Bolivar in La Paz and lost barely by 2 - 1. It was a good match because of the performance of both teams. The victory was very tight because Oriente went over there with the mentality of coming back with the three points. After watching the summary of the match in a video here: http://www.orienteblog.com/2010/10/oriente-se-va-alejando.html, I think the main problem of Oriente for not getting good results is because of the goalie. This goalie-problem is haunting Oriente for more than 5 years now. Before, Oriente had Galarza. He was the captain of the team and loved Oriente. He played in it for five years. However, Oriente lost many cups because of him and the people got tired of him so he left. The current goalie is the same. He loves Oriente but needs more confidence and passion towards the game. I think Oriente has to get a good, foreign goalie once and for all to start winning championships.

Keep Moving
After the bad luck in the clasico, where Oriente lost barely by 1 - 0 against Blooming, the players and directors are now looking forward towards the three away matches they have. Oriente will play against Bolivar in La Paz, Real Potosi in Potosi, and San Jose in Oruro. The clasico is one match that the players and fans want to forget. No one could believe the luck that Blooming had after Oriente's forwards shoot the ball towards the pole three times. But the pole-curse did not end there. Four days later, Oriente played against Aurora in Santa Cruz and again the poles stopped Oriente from winning. The game ended in a tie 2 - 2 with taste of lost for Oriente. Now we can only wait for good results in the high lands of the occident and win all of the home matches we have left.

Uruguayan Forward
For the clasico today, Oriente will have an Uruguayan Forward. As posted in this spanish article retrieved from DaleOoo.com the official website from Oriente's TV program: http://www.daleooo.com/2010/10/oriente-petrolero-tendra-delantera.html. This is because the last game from Oriente, against La Paz FC, the starter forward, Mauricio Saucedo recieved a red card, so he will be suspended for two matches. The new, uruguayan, forward will consist of starter Danilo Peinado and his compatriot Jorge Ramirez. This is the first time that they will both play in the starter team so we all hope they pull out a good match with lots of goals (for Oriente).
"Clasico" 152
Today, Wednesday, Oct. 13 is a very special date. Oriente and Blooming will play the "clasico crucenho" number 152. These kind of matches, the clasicos, are very intense and promising to see a good performance between both teams. They both are from Santa Cruz and are very respected nationally. Oriente won 59 from those 151 matches, Blooming won 43 and there were 49 ties. Currently, Oriente is ranked third in the table with 23 points, while Blooming is fourth with 21 points, so this match will more or less define which team will continuing being candidate for the 2010 Clausura champion.

Bolivia
The Bolivian national soccer team will play a match today against Venezuela in Ramon Aguilera Stadium at Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia. I am looking forward to go to the stadium today because I know I will see a good match. Most of the players in the national team are players from Oriente P. which is the best soccer club in Bolivia. They are very experienced players and I know that they will show us a great match.
